Spanner Re² GmbH collects and processes your personal data in the following cases:

  • If you buy products or services directly from us (e.g. in the Re² Shop) or via our website or during maintenance or repair of your Holz-Kraft plant.

  • If you respond to our direct marketing activities, e.g. if you fill out a reply card or if you submit your data online on one of our websites (www.holz-kraft.com or landing pages).
  • If your personal data is transmitted to us by Spanner Re² GmbH partners or third parties and the necessary data protection requirements are fulfilled, e.g. your consent has been given or you have not objected to the transfer of your data to Re² for the purpose of customer service (e.g. in the case of contacting Re² customer service) and written address (e.g. dispatch of the Re² welcome package after product purchase) in knowledge of a right of objection.

Fulfilment of legal obligations to which Spanner Re² GmbH is subject

Re² will also process personal data if there is a legal obligation to do so. This may be the case, for example, if we need to contact you because your system is affected by a callback or a technical action.

Collected data is also processed in the context of ensuring the operation of IT systems.

Spanner Re² GmbH is subject to a multitude of further legal obligations. In order to meet these obligations, we process your data to the required extent and, if necessary, pass them on to the responsible authorities within the framework of statutory reporting obligations.

Furthermore, we may process your data in the event of a legal dispute if the dispute necessitates the processing of your data.

How do we protect your personal data?

We use various state-of-the-art data protection and security measures such as encryption and authentication tools to protect and maintain the security, integrity and availability of your data. How long do we keep your data?

Use in performance of a contract

In order to fulfil contractual obligations, data collected about you may be kept for as long as the contract is in force or, depending on the nature and scope of the contract, in order to comply with statutory retention obligations and to clarify any inquiries or claims after expiry of the contract.

In addition, there are contracts for the supply of products and services which require longer retention periods, see also "Use for checking claims" below.

We may retain information that we deem necessary to investigate, defend, or bring legal action or claims against you, us or any third party for as long as such action could be instituted.

Use for customer care and marketing purposes

For customer care and marketing purposes, the data collected from you may be stored 3 to 10 years after collection, unless you wish this data to be deleted and there are no contractual or statutory storage obligations that conflict with this deletion request.

Sessions and cookies

We may use cookies or server-side sessions in which data can be stored to operate our Internet presence. Cookies are also used, for example, for personal greetings with the member name.
