On February 8th we delivered a Biomass CHP to our customer in Woodvillage Kawaba. It is a joint project run by the region of Kawaba and the forestry commission Gunma.
Only one month after installation the customer successfully fed the first electricity into the grid. The electricity is also sold to private clients in Tokyo. The heat will be used mainly for wood drying and for heating a plant house. The fuel used by the Biomass CHP is certified wood chips sourced using local forest management measures.
