From 12 to 22 September 2019, manufacturers and suppliers showed new vehicles and technologies at the IAA in Frankfurt am Main. From the field of e-mobility, the Evum aCar presented for the first time at the IAA 2017.

The aCar is a new approach in the field of electric vehicles. The sturdy, all-wheel drive vehicle can load about 1000 kg payload with a dead weight of 1200 kg and a vehicle length of just 4.00 meters. With a price of approximately € 28,900, it should be particularly attractive in African countries as a commercial vehicle for a variety of applications. The top speed is 70 km/h with a range of up to 200 km. The very off-road vehicle therefore addresses especially agricultural companies especially on the African and European continent. The aCar was developed by TU Müchen and Evum in cooperation with Otto Spanner GmbH from Bayerbach in Lower Bavaria. The vehicle is produced according to individual customer requirements. It is planned to produce the aCar in the future in Africa in addition to the production at the company Otto Spanner GmbH with a lower price.
