Spanner Re² has established itself in the wood gas market in recent years through numerous large-scale projects. The patented technology, which has been used worldwide in the small power range for over 13 years, has also proven itself in the megawatt range with above-average plant runtimes.

In future, about 2.8 megawatts of electricity will be generated from wood in the USA according to the principle of combined heat and power. The high fuel flexibility of the Re² biomass power plants is also remarkable. In addition to wood chips, almond shells will also be used as fuel in the planned large-scale biomass power plant project. For the customer, this represents a lucrative increase in the added value of its biogenic residue.
