CHP and wood gasifier as turnkey container solution
In November 2017, a wood-fired power plant with an electrical output of approx. 35 kW was commissioned of a project at the University of Forestry.
Wood chips as fuel for EnergyBlock
In the Siguatepeque area, forestry and agriculture are practised. Wood chips can therefore be produced from regional resources. The wood gasifier and the CHP unit are integrated in a container. The wood chip drying happens on site in a double-pot dryer from Spanner Re². The entire system is rain-protected as there are regional rainy seasons. The electricity generated is used by the university for its own use, and the heat generated is available for drying wood chips. Firm Eductrade is the plant operator.
