The Spanner Wood Gasifier following its "face-lift": The best timber power technology with a new look.
After five successful years of sales, the popular wood cogeneration plant by Spanner Re² GmbH has now undergone its first external revision. The first new models were delivered in May.
Latvia relies more and more on wood cogeneration technology. Currently another cascade power station is built, operated with a total of ten wood cogeneration plants. The first five systems have already been delivered.
At the end of April, Thomas Bleul, the Managing Director of Spanner Re², and David Trost, representing the sales department, visited the Bioenergiedorf Heubach association. They received further details from Herbert Crack on the current state of the district heating network connection and the capacity of the services provided by Spanner Re² for wood-co-generation power plants. The 45kW wood-co-generation power plant runs for about 300 hours after an initial inception period, and currently provides heating for about 60 connected buildings.
The weekly business magazine Wirtschaftswoche recently top-listed the most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany. Spanner Re² GmbH, from Neufahrn in Lower Bavaria, gained 170 points, being listed on the 10th spot, only 21 points behind the company on top of the list, the medical technology company Karl Storz from Tuttlingen.
The Munich-based consulting Munich Strategy Group (MSG) analysed 3,000 German companies with annual revenue between 10 million and 2 billion Euro, for the Wirtschaftswoche.
Currently, a team from Spanner Re² GmbH works in Canada to install a wood co-generation plant for local operation. At first, the local operators were instructed and trained in the equipment technology.
The demand for wood co-generation systems made by Spanner is constantly increasing. Especially inquiries from abroad are increasing. Therefore we have achieved for the first time an export share of 50 percent, in 2013 sales.
